Soundproof booths?
Question:Now I rap, make rap, record it (microphone, mixer) music artist, n all, does anyone have professional advice on how to make your own soundproof booth?
So not usually sounds cant disrupt the recording, and other small sounds, doesnt have to be complete soundproof, but for most part.
For instance, few ppl and me just been recording in this 10' x 6' x 8' walk in closet, and when you close the door and put a like blanket under door to close off the rest of the holes, in all no sounds can get in. But thats my parents closet, and they dont want me to use their closet to record
Does anyone have professional advice on how to make or sometihng own soundproof booth...any advice, anything? at least something
Answers:
Simply put, sound is air vibrating.
To reduce the transfer of those vibrations, you'll need to isolate the floor, walls and ceiling.
