Question:what kind of tools I would need to stretch my carpet? I have to pull up a small area because of pet urine and replace the padding, but I do not have the $$$ to replace the carpet so I am going to replace the padding. I need to know what tools I need and where I could get them. Any help would be appreciated

Carpet kicker..a long stretch pole...forget the name ..a carpet iron ..edge tool and a good utility knife...
Putting down carpet is hard to get right, it needs to be stretched just right and is inexpensive to get someone to do for you, probably less than buying or renting the knee kicker, power stretcher, despite the name it does not require electrical power, and edge tool and a carpet or utility knife. Get a book that tells you how so you do it well.
