Can anyone recommend a good paint stripper that works well on wood?

Question:I need to remove about 30-40 years of paint. The last coat was about 10 years ago.

Answers:
Might go with one of the heavy paste strippers.
They are less smelly & toxic than the gel or solvent types.
It can lift off several layers at a time .
The paint comes off in fairly dry pieces rather than mud.
Avoid sanding & metal tools.
A final cleanup w/ mineral spirits Plastic brush & clean rags should do it.
Best regards

StripEze available at hardware stores. Paint on, let bubble, scrape off, sand. Burns on contact with skin, wear gloves, wash off with water if you get it on you. Have fun.
A heat gun it blow hot air and it makes it easy to scrape the paint off
There are all types of strippers in the market, some very fluid, some pastey. If you are using them, do not use a heat gun unless you want everything to blow up in your face.
If you have a home depot? They carry a product called" jasco" paint striper. Works well on wood . Oil or water base.
hehehe... i dont know... i am not good at choosing a paint... hehehe... soweee.
