French Week door decorations. Creative, original ideas?

Question:Our school is having a contest where we decorate our classes' door. The theme is French Week, like Acadian style.
Any ideas for decorations? Im one of the 6 people doing it.

Answers:
Well, we know the French LOVE their food. You could start with a drawing of a cafe, or some French food items, maybe showing their raw ingredients as well, like Brie, Nutella, or the fish that go into bouillabaise. Then, there are the French words everyone knows, such as "l'amour," "vive," "bonjour." You might add snippets of songs such as "J'ai Deux Amours," and "L'Alouette." I take it by your mention of "Acadian" you are targeting Canada. For the US south, it would be "Cajun." If you mean Acadian, you could put up a small drawing of the Quebec flag, or a depiction of a Montreal building everyone would recognize. A collage of some or all of these might be quite beautiful. Amusez-vous.
