How do fix a leeking tap connection pipe when a new nylon washer wont seal?

For the best sealing properties get a rubber washer, possibly a fibre washer, or neoprene. Nylon washers I find are too hard, don't seal well.
Call a plumber
be more specific on tapping. When you tap an existing pipe you are piercing through it. I think this what you are doing. Just disconnect it all and start over. May have to buy new nylon washer and tighten down gently and snug.
measure the nylon washer, several way's - then throw it away and get a slightly smaller in thickness rubber washer, that expand's, and if that don't work it's alignment problem, and better to plug it and do the second tap carefully.
