Help, no windows and i need a air conditoner?
Question:Ok i live in a apartment that has no windows whatsoever and i dont want to suffer like last year. i live in new york city so its gets real hot. Does anone know of a air conditoner where you dont need a window? I mean they have windowless airconditioners but you still need a window to put the hose through. is there any where you dont have to do the whole hose thing? Does any one know where to get one in the city area? And no i dont want a fan again..lol

Have you checked the home improvement stores like Lowes and Home Depot? I am pretty sure you can get a portable AC that doesn't need a window.
Just get those big powerful fans theres no such thing as a a A/C that wont need a window.
Yes they sell portable air conditioners at home improvement stores, you might find one a walmart or something..try googling portable air conditioners. The do not use a window, you just set them in a corner.
i dont care if you get the best air conditioner Home Depot has to offer, you still have to vent the condenser air outside. If it comes with a flexible hose to do this and you have a mail slot, maybe you vent it out there. Other than that, looks like you need a fan.
you must have a bathroom ventilation duct or maybe a duct to vent a dryer outside if you are that desperate hookup the a/c vent hose to your bathroom vent...have you tried a block of ice between you and a fan?ha...ha...
seriously ask your building sup and ask what to do....but don't give him any hints on the bathroom vent
another issue is you need a electrical circuit to handle an a/c unit...
