Leaky faucet?
Question:Separate controls for hot, cold, and shower. Replaced washers already. Still leaks. What should I try next?

it sounds like the valve seats are bad. if u replaced the washers half the job is done. remove stems and feel in the hole. if surface is rough seats are bad. if they are removable you can do it with the right size hex wrench righty tighty, lefty loosey. the seats are about a buck a piece. if its a gerber valve the seats are common, available and replaceable. u might have to use a crescent wrench and some penetrating oil to get started. I think the first answer is the best. The entire package of hardware is really a bargain, especially to stop the problem.
Since you don't say so, I'll ask rhetorically, is the LEAK a drip from the faucet mouth or in the plumbing before the water gets there?
I'd say you're fortunate in one respect...You have valves that require washers, unlike some of the newer plumbing that is a mechanism that might mean the entire faucet assembly would have to be replaced.
BTW... Similar to a vehicle, with valves, the plumbing valve seats of a faucet can be damaged by degraded washers and a metal to metal contact.
