Easiest way to make a sock monkey?
Question:Hay! Does anyone have a really simple way to make a sock monkey or know a place where you can buy sock monkeys in the Portland, Oregon area? Hope you can help!

You can buy them online through your internet connection and they will be delivered directly to your home. That's the easiest way of obtaining one. Finding a store that sells something rare and unusual nearby is a hit or miss impossible task. Better to ask on your local craigslist, but even there you're unlikely to find anyone knowledgable. If you really want to know, then get out the phone book or Yahoo yellow pages, and call every store you think might sell such a thing. There's really no other way. You still think eBay is too difficult?
Okay all you have to do is get any kind of sock you want to use to make it. You get two buttons for eyes and sew it on. Then you get some fabric or cloth and cut it to make ears and glue or sew it on.the for the nose you can get a button or piece of cloth or frabic to sew or glue on.now get some frabic or cloth and cut it to make a tail, two arms, and two legs and glue or sew it on.
