Where Can I Find Replacement Garage Door Panels?

Question:Being the idiot that I am I backed out of the garage too quickly and hit the bottom panel of my garage door. Can anybody recommend either a place in or near Madison, WI that I can buy just the bottom panel.

I would also be happy with any recommendations for any online stores I could buy the panel from. I'd rather pay shipping then replace the whole door. Thank you.

Answers:
I'd suggest you contact a local overhead door company to see about replacing the damaged section. You don't specify the overall width of the door opening, but if it is a double door unit, you will need the panel delivered. If they're already there it wouldn't cost much more to have them replace it. This is an easy fix if the matching panel is available. Good luck.

You need to call the company that mfg the door. Do you know the brand name? I have found that ordering just one panel will often cost just as much as going to menards and buying a whole door.
You don't say if it is wood or metal. If it is wood, you can order one from a local lumber yard. They will want to know every possible measurement on the panel.
what brand of door do u have? i live in wisconsin and i work out in madison all the time so if i knew the brand i could probally tell you who would carry that panel in your area
I would try to find the manufacturer name somewhere on the door.If it is not discontinued you can order the replacement panel online
