Outdoor Canister Light. Can I make a sensor light?

Question:Hello, I just installed two sensor lights on the outside of my house. They are on both ends of my garage. On my porch however I have a canister light with a flood lightbulb. They are all on the same circuit. The lights on the garage go on at night automatically at night. The canister light does not and will stay lit during the day. Is there some kind of adapter or different type of canister light I can use that will work similiar with the other lights?

Answers:
I'm not sure if you can add a motion sensor to that existing fixture, but I know that you can add a "dusk to dawn" light sensor. All you do is splice the sensor into the black (hot) wire of the current light fixture. They cost around $15 to $20 and are available at any hardware or home improvement store.

Good luck

Suggestion from electrician husband. Need photo cell but will have to have an electricial to run wire to it. Can't use photo cell underneath eave of house without a wire.
