I want to print business cards on an 8"x8" piece of paper...?

Question:I want them to be little squares, like 2.6666 inches square. When I go to Page Setup and set the paper size to a custom 8x8, only the TOP ruler displays that the page is indeed 8 inches. The vertical ruler shows that the paper is only 6 inches tall! It's so weird. Also, I want to essentially insert a table that is 3 columns across and 3 rows down, so that I can make 9 business cards on each page. Well, it won't let me do this- it keeps making the cells rectangles, instead of the 2.6x2.6 that I am inputting. Another thing is that I am finding that when I finally post the text that I've pre-written (you know, everything I want all nicely laid out on the business card) it WON'T center within the cell. I even highlight the text and hit the "center" button, and it still is all cut off on one side. I just feel like Word is being very UN user friendly today! I'm usually really good with the program. Ideas on how to make 9 little square cards from an 8x8 paper would be awesome!

Answers:
In a WORD document, at the top of the page, go to Tools, then Envelopes and Labels. You can type the information in the space in the window opened (or type it on the blank word document and highlight it before you open Tools, Envelopes and Labels. The information will appear in the box when you open it). Then go to Options: there are various size labels and business cards available on that screen that you can buy in a package, at any office supply place; or you can pick out the size label or business card you want in that window and print it on any kind of paper or card stock.
(I use the program, Print Artist for business cards.)
Work with the Label part of WORD and learn more about it. It is pretty intuitive.
Remember, you can't do anything wrong when You are teaching Yourself new things!

Instead setting up a graph try setting it up as a customized label set.
