How do you access the lower thread on a Handi Stitch?

Question:I was given one with no instructions. There is thread in the top, but none in the lower area which locks the stitch together. How do I get at it the thread area in the inside??

Answers:
that is a product offered on TV.

so i suggest a few options:
* contact the manufacturer for a copy of the manual - if you have the box or the unit, the manufacturer name should be embedded on both.
* goto a store where they sell it and open the box to read the instructions. (note: there exist "As Seen on TV" stores - search the yellow pages - http://yp.yahoo.com for one near you)
* go to a local sewing machine store with the unit and ask for help. they are usually saavy at every machine from the oldest antique to the super tricked out state of the art machines.
