And why did you post this in Do It Yourself??
Talking solves nothing. The kids that a more violent wasnt because of minor spankings and beatings. They were always like that.
If a child smokes weed, or a cigarette, they're not dumb and obviously understand what it does to you. Talking just makes them think, they are off the hook and guilt only lasts 5 minutes, then they're back to the same old crap.
If you smack them, then next time they're offered weed or a cigarette, they'll think, hey I dont wanna get my *** kicked again, so no thanks.
Its not just African Americans, its everyone. But white people tend to do it less. Which would explain why all the whiny brats at grocery stores etc are white kids, whose parents are lazy.
Why is it that you think only African Americans do this? Prejudiced much?
i think you answered your own question.."the apple never falls far from the tree"
You don't get out much do you...
Because , the parents themselves we beaten by there parents or relative who were beaten by there owners.
This is known as a generational default. It is common among families who have passed this type of behavior down from earlier generations.
Better yet: Why do people ask stupid questions like your's in the wrong category?
It all comes from history, from the slavery days. What happens when a slave does something that the master doesn't approve of..Let me tell you, he gets BEAT...!!
And if you don't approve of beatings, or spankings then there is only ONE group of people to blame...Now you know why they have so much psychological problems.
Now try to soak up some of this history, so you can understand why it's like that...

Seems everyone`s forgotten the passage from the Bible," Spare the rod and spoil the child"
We have 2 grandkids, that when spending the night, occasionally get a tap on the butt. But for the most part when at gramma and granpas they`re pretty much a joy to have around.
But realease them back to the "wild" and they`re like 2 hyenas.
It`s called lack of disipline. And it`s never too early to start teaching it. And yes there is a difference between a beating and correcting.
But this is as previously stated, The wrong catagory.
Why is it that many caucasians try to buy their childrens love instead of spending qualtiy time with them?
