What is the average price of metal studs?


Question:I live in NY and have been searching online the whole day for comparisons between metal and wood studs. Its too late now to call HD or Lowes. Please help me out. I know wood 2x4s are approx 2.50 - 3.50 but have no clue about steel. Please let me know. Thanks
