How to disable a coffee makers auto shut-off?

Question:My husband and I drink coffee throughout the day and it is a pain having the coffee maker shut itself off. What can we do?

Answers:
The auto shut-off is a safety feature. If you bypass it, you run the risk of having your pot run dry causing a mess in your pot or, having the pot shatter. Worse still, the burner could overheat and cause a fire which would probably not be covered by your home insurance. Do yourself a favour and buy a thermal carafe. Your insurance company and taste-buds will thank you.

Reset it everytime you get another cup.

Or pour it into a thermos and use it that way.

The shut-off is a safety feature you cannot bypass.
Put your coffee in an insulated carafe. The auto shutoff is a safety feature. Besides, if you're not finishing the pot before the machine turns off, you're drinking nasty coffee. The water evaporates and the coffee burns as it sits on the heating element and the flavor changes.
Why not just get a carafe that will keep the coffee fresh and hot.I had one for years and it does better than coffee sitting on a burner.I think Mr.Coffee has the best out there for holding the heat.Mine stayed hot 10 hours at a time...
