Some questions about Pergo Laminated wood on stairs?

Question:(1) The plank I chosed from Pergo is with pre-attached underlayment. If installed on wood stair tread and riser, do I have to peel off underlayment off or just glue it with plank?
(2) There is 5'x 7' landing in the middle of stair, shall I install floating system or adheresive system here?

Thanks.

Answers:
I would definately not put a floating floor on a stairway. way too unstable I question the whole idea of putting Pergo on a stair as well. It seems a little risky.
If I were to use it, I would use it as is. Altering it may make it crack under pressure and someone could be seriously hurt.
