Our cupboards have been painted white over and over what would you do?

Question:1. We could remove the paint and let them be natural
2. Paint them over white
3. Paint then pink, blue, green?

Answers:
Depends on your budget. Paint removal is alot of work for sure. Don't paint wacky colors in a kitchen. It's a big turnoff for the next person who will live there (especially if it's a house that you may sell some day). Low budget - paint over them with a white or light neutral color. Maybe accent the trim with a diff color if you can. Higher budget - go for new doors and a reface of the cabinet body. It's not nearly as expensive as complete replacement

I'd remove all of the paint and either let them be natural or put a light coat of sealer on them. I have had to scrape paint of cabinets before and it's not that hard. Walmart sells this varnish/paint remover that is orange scented (a plus if you have migraines) You let it set a few minutes then it scrapes off with a putty knife pretty easily. Even if you want to paint them again, I would get rid of all of the old, to give it a smoother more precise look.
Even if you were going to paint them a new color, it will look the nicest if you remove all old paint first. I would remove the old pain, and see how they look, then you can decide to paint them again, or use a varnish. They do make some nice colored varnishes now, so you could have natural wood pink cabinets.
Take them down, go over them with steel wool, it will look rustic and vintage. You can cut square out of the middle of them and put a thin layer of plexy glass on the back so it will have a vintage look with diff colors, and get matching knobs.
Paint them again in a colour to go with your kitchen; another coat won't hurt. If you don't mind a major chore, then remove them and their hardware, and use caustic paint stripper, that will likely take several applications to do it right. And not all of it will come off if they used varnish between coats, which happened to a cabinet of mine with many paint layers. If it were me, I'd go with new cupboard facings, with new handles to make it look new, or re-paint. You don't need the hassle of the stripping method, plus exposure to a pretty noxious chemical. Life's short. Re-paint!
I SAW THIS ON TV!! IT WORKS (ON TV)

you could strip all the paint off and if its a good quality wood then stain them any color you'd like but if its a plywood or something then just paint them
