Wainscoting vs ordinary paneling?

Wainscoting is much more elegant and looks very rich. And as
wainscoting.info says it makes warm atmosphere in any room.
Wainscotting has a uniform pattern and always a fresh look where paneling is a broken pattern and is outdated for style - wainscotting can make a room look antiqued and country or be cottage style or beach house fresh.
Definately not paneling!!! it's a cheap look.
Wainscoating, in my mind, has a much more polished finish. It is actual solid wood, can be stained, etc.
Paneling is a cheap fix. It is particle board w/ a veneer as opposed to a solid wood that can be continually refinished.
Wainscoting is definetly better there is many different material options.For a different look try the wood look ceramic tiles for wainscoting on the walls or for a more wealthy look granite or marble or slate.Or for the laid back antique look wood wainscoting.
