white spirit, or vinegar, they have en acid in them that gets it off, i had to do it with some glass cabinets that e had taped shut with brown, packing tape, worked a treat, then i just used a glass wash after.hope it works for you
u can get products like goo-gone, but first try a little vegetable oil. It works real well most of the time.
Spray bottle with a soapy mix and a single edged razor blade. Any dish washing liquid will work. Just wet the area and scrape with the razor blade. Work away from yourself so you minimize the cut factor and be careful it is a razor blade.
Use a little methylated spirits. Rub this over using a sheet of crumpled newspaper.
The newspaper acts as a slight abrasive without damaging the glass.
If this doesn't work, try adding a few drops of washing up liquid to some surgical spirit and use this on the glass.
Finally wash the glass as normal.
Methylated spirits.
You could also try WD40, this has lots of uses many dont know about. I used it to get duck tape on my tiled floors.
Surgical spirit should do it
Brasso and WD40 will work very well.

eucalyptus oil on an old piece of rag
WD40. Furniture polish is also pretty good for getting off sticky residue.
You might want to try your hair dryer. Heat works wonders in getting the glue off. No residue either.
