How do i fill a small hole in the wall?
Question:i need help this weekend i accidentally put a small hole in the wall how do i fill it without having to go buy anything i need to make it look like it did before so my boyfriend doesnt see it i put toothpaste in it and thay didnt work

How big is this "small" hole?
If it's like the size of a nail hole, get some spackle and use a spackle knife to press it into the hole well and smooth it out on top. Don't worry if it seems to overflow a little, because it will shrink up as it dries. Once it's dry (give it a day), take some sandpaper and sand it down until it matches the wall. Start out with a low grit paper (coarser) and then move on to a higher grit paper (finer) for a smooth finish. Then repaint to match the wall color.
If it's more like a couple inches wide, you'll need to patch the hole. They sell patch kits, but all it really is is a piece of mesh or metal screen, so if you have something like that on hand you don't necessarily have to buy a kit. Cut it to fit over the hole, leaving some extra on all sides. Cover the hole, and spackle over the whole thing. Follow the directions above for spackling, sanding, and painting.
You have to paint that spot over the toothpaste so it blends in.
RUN out and buy a small can of spackle comes in plastic tub 5 dollars and put on with spackle knife you can get a plastic one for 1 dollar

Anything that you put in the hole isn't going to match the paint on walls. Before making a mess, I suggest to fess up and let him do it correctly before he finds out you tried something and make a bigger mess.
