Try Which... they have no axes to grind and give good advise and are also on the net... for me its dewalt
I use ITSLONDON.CO.UK .probably depends on where you live.Everyone has there own opinion ,its a very subjective area even with the sites..Lots of trade people like dewalt,makita, etc but lots of people buy cheap tools because of the amount of theft on sites and from vans
I've been in construction for over 40 years. The best circular saw is the Makita for framing, and the Porter-Cable for general and finish work. The best "jig saw" is the DeWalt. The best drills are Makita for battery power, and whatever feels the best for electric drills. Belt sanders ,Porter-Cable, and Makita are very reliable. Palm sanders, the best i've found is the little Porter-Cable orbital .
I find that "Which" tends to go for the low cost end of the power tool market. Personally, I like Metabo tools.
look at sears it is hard to beat them
