How do you take dried acrylic pant off the brisles of a paint brush.?
Question:Afew weeks ago my paint leaked some how and got all over some of my brushes. and it's completly dry.I need to know household things because I don't have the special stuff anymore.
Answers:
When you are ready to paint buy new paint brushes.
get the brushes wet and peel it off.
it's annoying.
If the paint is already dry in the brush you will not be able to clean it properly. For DIY projects brushes are disposable. If you bought a high end brush and didn't clean it when complete then shame on you lol Chunk it and but new one, the trouble to try to clean it ain't worth it.

You can get brush cleaner at Lowes or Home Depot, or you can go to a paint store and get some powder called SAV A BRUSH. In either case, do not leave them in there any longer than the directions say. The SAV A Brush is pretty inexpensive, the can of brush cleaner is more expensive.
