Who does use wainscoting in his/her house?

Anyone can use wainscoating or have it in their house. It is strictly by choice or preference. Personally, I like it. To me it adds an older flair to any home.
In my previous home we had wainscoating as a corner tub surround. The builder made wainscoating raised panel doors for access to the drains, jet motor, etc. For 10 years it drove me absolutely bats**t that the doors and the undermounting didn't line up properly, so I replaced it with materials that matched the vanity.
However, I have seen it used in barrooms, bathrooms, etc., as a wall finish. When it is done in this way and there aren't any lining-up problems, I love it and think it looks very classy.
I have both stained and painted wainscoting in my home and am planning on doing tile wainscoting in my baths.I like the look of it I think it can add a classy touch to your home.
