Color/Winter Guard question?
Question:Does anyone know, about how thick is the flag pole (like the diameter)? Im trying to make my own flag to practice with over the summer but im having trouble finding out how big to make it. Thanks!

1.5 inches diameter. If you're also going to make the flag, you'll want to make sure you pick a light (not heavy) fabric because often times material that you look at in the store feels pretty light until you put a whole bunch of it on a pole and try to twirl it. You'll also want to make sure you get strong velcro, and even consider super glue because I find that the velcro pieces don't stick as well to the PVC as they do to metal poles.

The diameter should be about an 1 1/2 inches . The pole length 8 to 9 feet.

There is no standard size for a flag pole, the sizes vary - so you can get any size you want or need, depending on where you are going to put it.
The flag also varies in size. The location, and size and height of the pole determines the size.
The flags connect to a rope, not around the pole, so why do you need the diameter of a pole?
