How do you build a bar for your home?

Question:

Answers:
I built my own using 18 gauge steel studs as the frame. The top was built out of 2 sheets of 3/4 exterior ply and tile and I used wood and composites on the rest. I also built a bar/outdoor kitchen for a friend and we used concrete backer board and tile instead of a wood covering. If you want, email me and I will send you pics and more info on my bar.

Follow up: If the bar is going to be indoors you can use wood studs instead of steel.

Send a suggestion to build a bar to Norm Abrams at the New Yankee Workshop and copy what he does. Closest he's come so far is a kitchen island http://www.newyankee.com/getcategory3.cg...
