Can you replace a sink in a mobile home with any kind of sink or a kind specific for trailers? How do i do it?

All so far are valid answers. I replaced mine with standards from a Big Box Home Imp. store. The issue is to measure the cut out on the counter top, assure that the sink has a lip to cover, perhaps 1/2 inch all around to cover the cut, caulk before setting the new sink,,,After assurance that the plumbing lines up beneath, use the brackets from beneath, that pull the sink tight to the counter top, If they are offered, hook up the down drain pipe to the P Trap, and the intake lines to the faucet, and turn it on,,,slowly at first to determine proper connections.
"Trailers" per say,,,as in tow arounds, often have specifically sized fixturing. "Mobile Homes" which are not strictly Mobile, can accept regular house fixturing.
Most bath sinks are between 19 and 22 inches, oval, round, or otherwise, and all that's best required is pulling the old sink and measuring the opening before you shop.

I have replaced an entire bathroom on a houseboat. Used a normal bathroom sink and copper pipe. I would rather have used PVC, but yes its no different than a regular sink.
You can use any kind of sink just make sure its the same size as your old one unless you are replacing the cabinet too.

Sure you can, as long as you purchase the same size as the one that's already there. Or buy the kit, that includes the cabinet and sink. Be sure to turn the water off at the wall before you start disconnecting pipes. You will probably have to purchase the guts to the sink separately. If you purchase your unit from a local hardware store, I'm sure that one of the nice men there will walk you through the process. Pay attention as you take the old one out and do not discard it until your sure how to install the new one and have all of the old parts off of it that you will need
