Will salt kill the weeds in my dirt driveway?

Question:

Answers:
Salt would probably kill the weeds, but they will also do a job on the underside of your car--as evidenced by any residential area on a Pacific Island, or by areas where the roads are salted to melt ice.

There is an organic site that I found at one time (when I worked for dept of ag) where you can purchase a strong solution of vinegar that kills weeks better than Roundup. It was condensed so it was a strong percentage, but cannot remember exactly what percent it was.

I don't know about salt I would think that it would work but I would use boiling water to kill the weeds in the driveway.
vinegar will work better...
no, i dont think so
Yes it will. Every time we make homemade ice cream we have to ger rid of salt water. I throw it on weeds and they **************DIE-DIE-DIE.****...
It might. The trouble is that it might also kill things you want left alive. Boiling water and vinegar are better options.
yes
