Does anyone know how much contractors charge to construct a road per square metre.?
Question:i need to have an access road installed and i am trying to work out roughly how much it is going to cost. if i knew how much it costs per square meter i can work it out.

the average cost of tarmac is about £60 a square metre thats for base and tops also you have the cost of type 1 stone which is about £20 a square metre plus excavation and remoal of spoil then you have the cost of any kerbs used plus labour and plant if you use concrete that will be about £80 a cube metre and dont for get yyou may need drainage what ever you do its going to be costly,,
Depends my friend.Concrete, gravel, asphalt??
I know asphalt is around 2-4$ a sq ft, concrete around 5-7$ a sq ft. Not sure about gravel. Multply by 9 for sq meter.
