Toolshed Protection?

Question:I have a storage shed in my backyard for my tools. My yard is fenced in, however, i've had probs in the past. I’m looking for a way to protect them in the event that someone tries to break in and steal them. Anyone know of any reliable but AFFORDABLE way to do so?

Answers:
I too have a toolshed out back. I've used Beware of Dog Signs in the past, but when people don't hear a dog barking, then it didn't do any good.

One thing I did like what others had mentioned was use motion sensors and alarms. In addition, I also hooked up the motion sensor to a floodlight camera. This way when I see the light on the back turn on I can look out the window and see what is going on. In addition, since there is a wireless camera attached to the flloodlight, I can also see through my TV what is happening. It really wasn't that expensive to do this, nor was it difficult to install. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone! Here's the link to where i purchased below.

A deterent is beware of dog signs--a motion light that turns on when anyone enters your yard at night. If you have an old neighbor in the area ask them to watch while you are at work during the day. Good luck. Beware of snakes also works.
If you have a lot of tools, it would be worth it to put a alarm system in, not to mention your house too.Motion detector would do...
tools should not be kept in a shed, due to the humidity that will cause them to rust,if you have a basement make a room for them,if not then have an alarm installed,i"am sure your neighbors know where you keep your tools.
