To home dry flowers the trick is to make sure the ends are bound tightly if they are together or keep them apart if they were to begin with. Then you hang them upside down above a dryer. The rising heat will naturally dry the flowers while the positioning keeps the petals from flopping back and falling off. Once they are dry put a light coating of hair spray over them to keep them crisp. They should stay for quite a while and be fine for turning right way up. I do this to my flowers when I get them and keep them until my pollen allergies get to me. Hope they stay pretty!
Try search engining different home flower drying styles if you want them flat or whatever that's different. It's often easier to preserve them at home than with a "special" product.
Put them in a ziplock bag.
Put the ziplock bag in the freezer.
Flatten them in a book for a while and once its dry its good to go!
I just leave mine out. They dry up, and then you can hang them on a bulletin board, or display them on a windowsill or something. They should be just fine without any special flower-saving stuff.
depends on how you want them to be preserved, ziploc bag could work, or in between wax paper sheets and an iron ON LOW would work too. You could even slide them under a piece of glass and glue the glass to a photo album with pics of prom or with pics of prom under the glass with it and have a frame shop or someone handy make a frame for you mount it.
I believe I froze both my Prom and Wedding flowers in the little plastic containers they came in. Good luck!
Where the hell do you live that you have to go an hour and a half away?
