How do I ground an above ground swimming pool?

Question:I know the pool pump has to be grounded, but the town I live in says the pool has to have grounding around the pool.

Answers:
install metal poles around edges of pool and attach copper wires from metal on pool to post. We do this with our exterior propane tank storage and gasoline storage cabinets.(our facility is sensitive to static charge inside and out)
