Question:It calls for a 6-15R outlet. Where can I find this type of outlet? What gauge wire do I need to mire this outlet with? What type of circuit breaker do I need to use? Thanks.

Answers:
It is the Nema number for the plug to make it easy to find and buy you may find it at a home store , but may have to go to a electrical supply store, you will need a 14/2 romex which is good for 15 amps you will use the black and the white wires as the hots the bare is the ground wire, you will need a 2 pole 15 amp breaker , check your panel for type and name of panel

15 amp 250v 3-wire receptacle.

2 hots, 1 ground

Use 2-pole, 15 amp breaker.

#14 copper wire is rated for 15 amps.

Lowe's , Home Depot, Hardware Store, Electrical supply house.
It is a 15 amp recepticle but it is different from other ones so no one can accidentally plug in any 120v appliance into it and set off fireworks. I would use 12awg wire for it. Below is a website to visualize what it looks like and you can get them at your local Home Depot or whatever home supply you have where you are.
