Hamock what do I do?

Question:I have a hamock that I got from mexico, anyway it just the hamock and I have no where to hang it, can just use two wooden post? and how do I make them stay in the ground and not fall over?

Answers:
you dont have a place to hang it? send it to me I do and i would love a hammock! ok ok ill tell you. if you dont want to go digging holes and place concrete and pipe in the ground how about a metal pipe frame for it? just go look at one in the store and get a general idea on how they are made and create your own. the only reason i suggest a metal frame for it is cause you will be able to move it easily for mowing purposes.

dig the hole in the ground,,put the post into a bucket and pour
cement around it, make sure you go down far enough so it will not fall over.and use a big bucket , like a 5 gallon paint bucket.
If you are looking for a permanent solution, you could dig holes and set the posts with concrete. The bad thing is that if you ever sell the house, then you would have to remove them, or just leave your hammock, hopefully it's a nice one and the new owners like it.

There are also some contraptions I have seen at the store for hammocks made of metal poles, but they don't require and posting or anything. But if you are really into the Do It Yourself attitude, you could make one.

i would drive 2 posts in ground & nail 2x4 on top of them to keep them from collapsing...as a first step
