Where can I buy an AC window unit that will fit into a window that only opens 11 inches?
Question:I want to buy an AC unit for my bedroom but I have the up/down windows and the opening is just shy of 11 inches. Does anyone have any recommendations as to who might sell smaller units?

pop out the one sash its simple and then you can close off the opened space i have recieved a best answer for a question like this last week . if you pull window up with the left isde going higher then the right side itll release if you have vinyl replacement windows

11.5 inches is the smallest i could find with a quick search of lowe's
I just saw one at Home Depot over the wweekend. This type stays in the room and an exhaust vent goes out the window.
