I've broken a drinking glass. Can I repair it without tape?

Question:Two glasses, in fact. In quick succession. *cries*

One was just a beer glass, and the other was my favorite 13oz vodka Caesar glass.
The beer glass was about 1/16inch thick, and the caesar glass was about 1.5x that thickness.

I'm not concerned highly about the beer glass, but I would minimally like to be able to mend the smaller of the two. Both would be preferable, because I like these glasses, and I don't want to have to buy new ones. :P

I don't care if it looks like it's been broken and then fixed, I just want to fix it so that it won't come undone, and WITHOUT USING TAPE. lol.

I've heard claims about superglue, can anyone corroborate this? If this is true, is there a certain type of glue that works better with glass?

Hopefully there are successful answers swimming about within you Yahoos. ;)

Answers:
you can try calling contactig a local glass company in your area and tell them to contact cr laurence they have a glue to bond glass together the only thing is that cr laurence company only sells to resellers not to the public so you would have to go through a glass copmpany to buy this product you can also call crlaurence dirrect and let them know of your problem and they can refer you to a local dealer in your area

Super.

Glue.
super glue or a hot glue gun. but if they fix diamonds and glass windows surely theres somn out there for ur mugs. good luck!
superglues are good and is strong enough to carry you. (bulldog, mighty bonds etc) but i bet you wont be using it with your alcohol.

chemical reactions takes place.

you dont want to get drunk with super glues right?
Be like an Aussie. Drink out of the bottle. Araldite sticks glass but not plastic.
I suggest you buy new glasses... Once a glass is broken, it´s hard to piece it back together... it doesn´t break evenly, and even if it did, why risk getting cut or it leaking? Plus, I don´t know how much you´d love a glass that´s pieced together with glue. Better to drink out of a plastic cup.
You can only use the superglue effectively if they are in separate pieces like glue them together. If you just patch them up, it will only glue the outside and I am not sure if it will hold liquid in.
You may want to return those glasses to the factory for repair.
