I am fitting a new kitchen. Do i need to cut the end panels if i need to raise the cabinets to level out?

Question:It is a new fitted kitchen and i want to raise the cabinets slightly. The end panels come as a certain size and may need cutting before they can be fitted. If I wasn't raising the cabinets, I probably wouldn't need to cut the panel.

Answers:
It is normal practise to put packing under the end, other wise you will need to cut the kick board along the length to match the floor level.
I take it that the floor isn't level.
