Glue on the screen..help!?

Question:my son put a small amount of super glue on my 19" computer screen, can anyone tell me how to remove it please.
thank you!

Answers:
The only thing that removes those type glues is acetone which more than likely will damage it. Remember nail polish remover contains acetone too.

Consult the manufacture of of your monitor. If you have an older CRT monitor with a glass screen you MIGHT be able to get away using it but many of those monitors have a special coating to cut down on glare which could be damaged. You just might be out of luck.

try goo be gone or windex with a rubber scraper
If it is a hard glass screen, talk a cloth or paper towel and put some fingernail polish REMOVER on it (not the polish itself). That should take it off. If it is an LCD or plasma screen I don't know what to tell you. You could try the same method, but I'm not sure whether it would damage your screen or not.
