What's a "pre-finished" wood floor?

Question:Do I have to do something like stain it or seal it after it's installed?

Answers:
nope its ready to be put down and walked on.

No it's all done for you but you do need to be more careful when installing.
Floor is completely finish once layed. All staining and clearcoats have been done at manufacture plant. Special point is to find out what exactly you need to recoat with in future. In time the clear coat will wear off and to protect the color and timber/laminate you will need to recoat with clear. This will extend the life of your floor especially in areas such as passage ways where the wear is isolated into a particular area ie the centre. If they cannot tell you what to refinish it with don't buy it.
Don't walk on it for at least 6 months to let it settle properly.
