How do I extend my side curtains on my window air conditioner?
Question:Let me elaborate, I bought a window air conditioner that only extends a total of 3 ft. ( the width of the unit and the side curtains) I have a 5 ft. window opening , what could I use to make up the foot on each side of the air conditioner. Do they sell kits out there that could make up that difference? If so where? If not any ideas?
Answers:
I would use the plastic that's made for tub enclosures and cut the pieces to fill the entire hole. Set them in with a bit of caulking. Come to think of it, why not use plexiglass? You would still have the sunlight shining through.
