How do I mount a LACK Ikea shelf if the holes dont line up with my 16 inch spaced studs?
Question:I bought 2 LACK ~43" shelves and the mounting bar has a bunch of differnetly spaced holes on the back, but none of the holes accomodate 16 inch space.. how should i mount the shelves?

I faced the same problem. What i did was buy anchor screws or molly screws. They fit in the wall and expand or spread a bit behind the wall , thus giving extra support. Then fit in the nails or screws into the molly bolt or anchor screws ( it will be explained in the package) .These are easily availble at home depot or Lowes at the Nail aisle.
Try re drilling the mounting bar so they line up with your existing stud lay out.
