How does oir fired central heating work?

Question:I know with Gas Central heating you have a gas pipe from the mains. But how does oil fired work, do you have to have an oil tank somewhere with heating oil in it and then get it filled every week or something?

Answers:
Oil fired central heating works in a very similar way as gas fired. You have a holding tank normally located outside but close to the heater. Oil under gravity is fed into the boiler and introduced into the burn nozzle, Typically a gas burner is used to ignite the oil.
