There is a fact, sprays and powders or other devices are not going to get rid of them - they only attract a few and trap them in similiar fashions To rid yourself of the many you do not see you need to fog and you need to do this properly otherwise you will not accomplish anything.
First, you must seal off the room you are working on - yes you can do one room at a time if they are confined to specific rooms, I did this and that is how I know it works.
Once you seal the room off, use a bed sheet over the doorway, for example, you'll want to ensure all windows and exterior doors are closed tight. Any cupboards, drawers, etc must be left wide open to expose the interior area ... making it very easy for the fog to get in there and behind the cupboard.
You should remove everything from cupboards and drawers - lay them on a table and cover them ( opened food items will be poisoned if left in the room).
I used 2 cans of fog in one room sized about 12X12X8. I left them go off and did not enter that room for at least 6 hours. I went in and cleaned up but did not put anything away. The next day ( a different time) I set off another one, use two if you want but you need to follow up with the second fogging for it to be effective.
Then you can move on to the next room to be fogged - if you are leaving the apartment for the day you will want to seal rooms like I described above and set off you bombs in each room even if you're doing the whole apartment.
For me, If I were doing four rooms then I'd plan on setting off 16 bombs ( 2 for each room, done twice).
Once the bomb goes off though, you cannot open the windows and all - it must be left alone for a period of time so the fog can kill the roaches & destroy the eggs.
When the bomb is going off it is only releasing the fog - this is not the killing point, even though it may kill many. The point of the kill is once all of the fog is released into the air in that room. By sealing the room you confine a lot of fog into a small area.
You may want to do your research before setting them off. Write down the times when you see them, maybe for one week-but write the times and place every single time. Then you can see when they are more active and know this is the time to set off your bombs ( foggers).
The kitchen is often the worst room in the house because it is the source of food and water, same as if it were rats you were infested with.
Afterwards, you should set off a bomb once a month in the kitchen, and other rooms they are seen, if other units in your building are infected and not dealt with. This may not stop you from getting infected, but will surely reduce the probability of you ever being infested as bad as you are now.
You need professional help.
move and don't take any of your stuff. Once you are afflicted, there is pretty much no way to get rid of these things.
They will survive the end times and come to dominate the earth, along with rats and pigeons.
Your apartment manager has to give you a new apartment. That is gross and if you are a clean person you should be under protection from you state and the management agency of the complex.
Apartment?? Meaning there other apartments there?? Nothing will work unless the whole building is treated/funigated by professionals. They are in the whole building and even if you should get rid of them in your apartment, they will come in from other parts of the building.
the only way is COMBAT. follow the directions, dont spray, they will be gone in two weeks FOREVER!
use boric acid (powder) around room perimeters,caulk/seal as many openings as possible. this should minimize if not rid them.
MOVE OUT!
