I need to cut tarmac what is the best tool to use,if is an angle grinder what type of wheel?
Question:
Answers:
You can use a 9 inch angle grinder with a diamond blade made for asphalt. If you have a lot to cut then hire a floor saw - two brands are Clipper and Errut - from your local plant or tool hire centre. These have a petrol or diesel engine and can drive a much larger blade than an angle grinder. They are faster, can cut deeper and are more accurate than an angle grinder
If you mean asphalt, use a diamond blade in a concrete saw. You can rent one.
Answer number one has the better clue than using a DI grinder, but you didn't state how much cutting you wish to do.
Certainly for a large job it would be prudent to rent the equipment. I'd even go so far as to rent one like those used commercially or by highway departments, much like a wet saw/grinder blade with the tool attached to a wheeled carriage/cart. Kind of like a lawn mower.

you can use a kangol hammer, or i suppose you can an angle grinder, but use a diamond edge.
you can use an angle grinder but you must use a special blade for tarmac as a steel or even a diamond blade will soon clog .ask at your local hire shop
hire a kango hammer its an electric type of jack hammer or you could go whole hog and hire a petrol jcb breaker its like a jack hammer that road workers use but its hydraulic not pneumatic. ask at the tool hire shop what would they recommend. insist on ppe (personal protection equipment) and a demo on how to use the tools before you impart money. power tools especially professional power tools aren't something to just pick up without knowing how to use them safely.
