Measure from wall to wall both ways the multiply. Example: One wall is 10 foot long the other is 7 foot wide. 10x7=70 sq ft.
length times width
just measure from one wall to the other and add 2 feet to your measurement because the installation will have scraps trust me then do the same for the width and times the 2 amounts
(example) one wall to the other measures 8 feet i wright 10feet same for other direction
so 10x10=100sq ft
The first answer is correct. Area is measured by multiplying length and width. If you measure the number of feet, your answer will be in square feet, but be aware that if there are inches involved, you must express them as decimals (number of inches divided by 12).
1" = .083'
2" = .166
3" = .25
4" = .333
5" = .416
6" = .5
So that 10'6" becomes 10.5 for multiplication purposes.
