I would suggest you try to contact the maker, if you haven't searched for them directly.
Failing that, go back to the store where you bought it and ask.
I prefer 120gt sandpaper for paintwork and 180gt for varnish/polyurethane.
Personally, I would never use liquid sander.
But, you are supposed to wipe it on to the surface of the existing paint, then paint right over it. It is supposed to etch the gloss surface so the paint can key on to it.
Me?
I would use sandpaper.
HI. First off liquid sander is a product that professional painters really don't use. If you are refinishing cabinets that have a finish simply use 100 grit sandpaper and or medium sanding sponge. You are not trying to remove all the finish just trying to break the gloss so that new finish will adhear. Sand with the grain not across, About 2 minuets a door, then vacuum and use a tack cloth to take off final dust.Source 30 years painting. Hope this is helpful.
hi
I would not recommend liquid sand paper for your cabinet
you suppose to applied it with a brush then let dry.
what you see on TV is not always right lol lol
I would recommend if your going to stain over stain to used a 120 grit sand paper and sand it to take the shine off and and make a scuff mark so the primer will stick wipe clean with a tack cloth or damp rag the let dry then applied new stain.
if you going to paint over a stain door, used 120 again and then used tack cloth or damp rag wipe dry then applied a primer like kilz the let dry used a 0000 steel-wool to remove any little imperfection, wipe clean then paint
good luck
