HELP ME! I dropped some things down my drain!?
Question:Ok, i dropped some things down my drain and i MUST get them out before Thursday or i'm screwed. I can't get the actual drain part to come out though. I tried twisting it but that won't work. It's just the standard metal kind. PLEASE HELP ME!

There should be a "U" shaped part of pipe under the sink - this is the trap. Put a bucket under it before loosening pipe with pipe wrench. It "traps" things dropped down the drain - contact lenses, engagement rings, etc. You will probably want to put some white plumber's tape on the pipe threads when reattaching to make a tight seal.
If there is an elbow in the pipe remove the first elbow part of the pipe. Whatever you dropped should be in there. That's why it's called "the Trap".
