Your question is vague and unanswerable in its context. However the best thing to do is go to a lighting store or back to the place where it was purchased (assuming there are no instructions with it) and ask for proper instructions.
Personally, I would do the following: Find out what type of wattage the bulb is, how many amps needed to use it, check the fuse box for amps supplied to the dwelling.
Make sure all parts are assembled as per instructions, make sure there is wiring running to source of placement for the light fixture, make sure the fuse box switch is disabled or off. Click to see if original light fixture comes on. No light, no power source.
Disconnect the wires to the wall switch to keep from someone accidentally turning it on and electrocuting you.
Make sure you know what color wires are wrapped together, some colors don't always go together like they are suppose to. Ask an electrician to verify the wiring is up to code and ready to add fixture. They can unwrap the wiring and wrap the new fixture wires around the house supplied wires to prepare the fixture for use. Good luck!
Depending on where it is going to be installed make sure that it is secured very good to prevent falling, Lowes, Menards, Home Depot, or your local hardware store will have the right hanger for you. Usually the black wire is hot, the white is ground, and green is neutral. Make sure the power is off before you start. Just match up the wires. It is fairly easy to do. Also, if the fixture came with instructions make sure you follow them. Good luck, hope this helps some.
i think it's easy just read directions with fixture. Make sure the ELECTRIC is off before doing this U DON'T WANT SHOCKED.
