considering that the legal age to smoke is 18, i think most stores won't sell lighters to minors, but its not like they will automatically ID you (I bought lighters at 17, and the cashier didn't ask ID).It probably depends if you get them from a supermarket or a liquor store. I don't think that there is an age limit for matches though, but it probably depends on the cashier or store policy.
