Paint Runner.?
Question:I am considering buying a Paint runner, £36.99 from the supplier in the UK, do you know if this product actually works, and are the results good. Also if its possible to purchase this item in the ROI.
Answers:
Don't waste your money - seriously DON'T!
If you really want to paint and save money buy yourself a good quality SHEEPSKIN roller - about £9.99 (Euro 15.00) - a good sheepskin roller will out perform this anytime and will clean easily (much more easily than synthetic) and give you a much better finish.
These items are good for a while but tend to be of cheap construction at a high price and do not last.
I am not sure what a Paint Runner is, can you be more specific.? If you cannot buy what you are looking for where you Live, try Ebay..They sell just about anything.
dont bother they are terrible.
all you need is a good 9" frame a medium pile sleeve and a tray or a sheepskin sleeve and you will get a much better finish with that. you can buy all these from a decent decorating supplies not a diy store. i sell them from around £6.99 to £12.00 but im not in roi sorry.
I have tried similar things here in the U.S. , I took a look at this thing , the design looks cheap , from my experience using these things , you might finish one job with it ,and then it is ready for the garbage , plus most of these things break before you finish the painting , I would highly recommend painting the old fashion way , instead of a cheap paint tray , you can get a 5 gallon bucket , they make roller screens for them to roll off the excess paint . that would save more time , besides that paint runner will need refilling before you finish a wall , so what you have already applied will be setting up , and or drying before you return , so you will have to wait to resume painting , then when you start back you will be able to see where you stopped , and started with the paint . depending on the color of the paint . In my professional opinion , I would not waist the money , just find a good quality roller frame , and a good quality lambswool roller cover
(sleeve) , I believe you would come out lots cheaper , and with a better looking job on your painted surface.. Plus as small as that thing looked on the add I viewed , that piece of junk would take you longer due to the size of the roller , and the thickness of the roller cover.
I am a True Professional Painter , and no half @ss joker with a truck ,and a brush , most of my work goes in to the homes that are featured in several magazines here on the east coast .
