How do I get an oil stain off of my concrete driveway?

Question:It has been there maybe 3 days? Is there anything I can do, I try a cleaner & a hose & it is still there.

Answers:
Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get a 1 gallon bottle of muratic acid and follow the instructions. Keep in mind, muratic acid is a fairly strong acid used for cleaning and etching stone, so don't get it on you. It will take the crud right off with some gentle scrubbing.

Greased Lightning and a steel brush.
First of all, soak up the excess oil with kitty litter. (Yeah, I know-- but it works!) Let that sit for a couple of hours before you sweep it up.

Next, you'll need a srubbing brush and powder laundry soap (like Tide). Liberally sprinkle the laundry soap over the oil stain. Add some water and scrub away.

Repeat if necessary. This is the way my dad always gets rid of oil stains on our concrete driveway. HTH.
I pour a generous amount of laundry detergent (Tide powder) on the stain and sprinkle with water to get it soaked. Let it sit a few hours and most, if not all, the stain will be gone. May need a little additional scrubbing with a brush.
Firstly fix the cause of the oil leak :-). Its just gonna come back. Then use either engine degreaser or lotsa laundry detergent. but fix the oil leak in your engine.
